Octopus Write &- Draw Ink, Waterproof Ink for Fountain Pens, Nibs, and Brushes, Vegan Octopus Write &- Draw Inks are unique, smudge-proof, waterproof writing and drawing inks available in a wide range of colors. They were developed for everyday use in fountain pens and are also popular with graphic designers, illustrators, calligraphers, and artists for writing, drawing, and coloring with calligraphy pens, glass pens, or brushes. When developing this drawing ink, special attention was paid to its use in fountain pens. The use of the finest color pigments in a carefully balanced formula ensures high lightfastness and optimal, even ink flow without clogging the fountain pen'-s ink duct. These pigmented writing inks also feature the excellent writing behavior of classic Octopus fountain pen inks. Write &- Draw drawing ink meets the requirements for document-proof inks according to DIN ISO 12757-2 and DIN ISO 14145-2 and is made exclusively with vegan ingredients. Whether pure or diluted with water, Octopus Write &- Draw ink is excellent for coloring. Used undiluted, the waterproof ink impresses with its opacity. The numerous colors of Octopus drawing ink can be mixed together or with water. This allows for countless color nuances to achieve beautiful watercolor effects. Unlike most other waterproof inks, Octopus Write &- Draw can be used without hesitation in a fountain pen. However, care must be taken not to let the fountain pen dry out. The water resistance of Write &- Draw inks is achieved with the help of a cross-linking binder, which cannot be easily dissolved once dry. It is therefore recommended to rinse and clean the writing instrument thoroughly after use to prevent the ink from accidentally drying out.
