English: it is an extra-fine cotton/polyester canvas, on which Fabriano artistic paper is applied, 100% cotton (acid free). the union of canvas and paper, in addition to allowing greater ease of use, favors mounting on a frame and improves the mechanical characteristics and performance of the paper. tests conducted by various artists, professors and experts in the sector have highlighted the notable qualities during use. some of the major advantages found are the excellent absorption capacity, the appreciable flatness that is obtained after drying, better if mounted on a frame, and, in traditional use, the ability to resist wrinkling, even after abundant use of water. with this new type of surface it will finally be possible to create large-sized watercolours supported by the frame. the product is suitable not only for watercolour painting with the wet-on-wet or dry-on-wet technique, but for all techniques, including mixed techniques (tempera, gouache, acrylic, oil, ink and drawing).
