artisan: water-dilutable oils. the artisan colors are real oils based on modified linseed and safflower oil. thanks to their intensity, oiliness, permanence, opacity / transparency, performance and drying times, the artisan colors are perfectly suited to all possible techniques with oil colors. these characteristics are obtained thanks to the use of modified oil colors which, instead of separating from the water, are mixed with it. the only difference between artisan colors and conventional oil paints is that they can be diluted with water. brushes and accessories must be cleaned with soap and water after use- it is not necessary to use solvents.
