classic white background designed for absorbent surfaces, such as canvas, paper or wood. the gypsum prepares the substrates giving the waterproofing and roughness necessary to the acrylic and oil colors. usually one layer is enough. Traditionally, gypsum is titanium white and opaque to give good surface coverage. it is recommended to apply 2 layers of product under the oil colors.
